Idaho Pasture Pigs (IPP's) are friendly, gentle domestic pigs that are a combination of the original Duroc pigs, old Berkshire pigs, and Kunekune pigs. IPP's come in a wide variety of colors including black, red, white, and combinations of all three. IPP's are known as grazing pigs that do not tear up all of the grass in your pasture. This is because of their shorter upturned snout. They are gentle pigs that love attention. Since this breed has been developed in 2006, they have become known for their excellent red marbled meat. Because whatever you feed them really affects the flavor of the meat, we make sure to only feed our IPP's the best feed to supplement their diet of grass, especially in the last month.
